Ramp Ready Hair with TRESemmé - 5 DIY Salon Styles You Can Create At Home

Ok this post is in no way a review of the TRESemmé Shampoo and Conditioner. That will come in a separate post. Right now what I am excited to share are a few hair styles that I tried out after using the shampoo and conditioner for over 3 weeks now.

I have wavy hair which is very frizzy. On an everyday basis I would just let my hair dry naturally and comb them through. After trying the TRESemmé Shampoo and Conditioner my hair has finally allowed me to venture out and try out multiple hair styles. My hair is now Ramp Ready every day!

So lets begin with the hair styles I have to share. Now you too can get salon style hair at home! I really wanted to do tutorials but just taking pictures of the finished look turned out to be a huge task - it is extremely difficult to click your own hair when there is no one to help you out and there is no tripod to balance your camera.

Topsy Tail Pony

The first style that you can create very easily is a topsy tail pony. All you have to do is brush your hair well and tie them into a low pony. Once done use your finger to create a separation in the hair just above the rubber band that was used to tie the pony. Pull the lose end of your pony up and into this separation pulling it all the way down into that separation. Voila you are done with a gorgeous looking pony!

There are tools also available in the market which can help you create the topsy tail pony. And this picture might help understand the process better.

Flower Braid

Next you can accessories this topsy tail pony using a ribbon, a straw strand, a strand of pearls or as in my case a straw ribbon which has these cute roses on it. Simply insert on end of the strand through the separation, pull it down and then entwine the whole thing along the length of the pony to create the effect of a braid.

Delicate Fan Pony Tail

This hair style is another easy to do piece. First take half your hair and use a clutch clip to hold them in place. Make sure to use a very small clutch clip for this. Next tie the rest of your hair in a net pony tail. Now take one strand of hair (1 inch thick) from the pony tail and gently wrap it around the rubber band where you tied your pony and secure this strand on the inside using a bobby-pin. Now gently lift the strand of hair that is encircling the rubber band and bring it on top of the clutch clip in a manner that the hair fans out as shown in the picture.

Twisted Tails

Twisted tails is one of my favorites as it is very versatile. I created this hair style using tips from the online videos from TRESemmé India youtube channel that you can view HERE

In this hair style you have to create a side partition. Then on the side from which you partition pick out small sections of hair, twist them around to other side of the head and secure using bobby pins. Repeate until all hair from that side has been twisted to the other side. On the other side of the head repeat this twisting process but create the twists using larger sections of hair such that you have only two twists on that side.

This hair style is very good for the summers at is keeps the hair out of your face and looks very stylish.

Pin-up Hair Bun

From the last hair style of twisted tails you can create a hair bun by picking up all the lose hair and turning it around and securing with a clutch clip or hair pins. Make sure the bun covers all the ends where the twisted tails meet. Another great way to keep your hair Ramp Ready while beating the heat.

I hope you liked all these hair styles that I created. And it has all been possible because my hair has become less frizzy and super smooth using the shampoo and conditioner from TRESemmé. I will do a detailed review post very soon.
