Recently I was contacted by Myntra.com to try out their beauty section and was given a discount voucher to make my purchase. I was super excited and spent hours, yes hours and hours browsing through the beauty section which has 1090 products! Didn't know what to pick and what to leave. I was supposed to pick a couple of items but instead I did this complete haul!

Now I had placed my order long back but due to a deo in the packet there was some issue delivering it to me. So myntra customer support re-sent it using their own courier person instead of the regular courier company. Customer support worked real fast - I got my order within two days of contacting the customer support.
All items were nicely packed but I missed the regular red lid boxes that myntra uses for its products. Mine were all bubble wrapped and then put into regular cartons.

So I got myself a deo, a Faces gel mask for the eyes, Nivea skin refining scrub, Nivea oil control toner, a small pot of the Ponds Age Miracle day cream and the long awaited Maybelline Baby Lips (finally I have this - and I'm already applying this like so many times during the day - just love it!) Oh yeah and I also got a Maybelline eye pencil.
Ok now back to a bit about the beauty section on myntra.com - out of all the products you can search your products by category, price, brands and color (yes color!). The search by color comes in very handy if you are looking for a nail polish.
You can also sort your products by popularity, price, what's new and by discount. Overall its pretty easy to find what you are looking for. Shipping is not free unless you have a total of Rs999 in your cart. This is pretty high and it would be great if myntra could cut down on the minimum cost of purchase for free shipping.
Delivery times are superb unless you order deos - I think a lot of couriers have trouble delivering deodorants for some reason.
One more thing that I would like to ask from myntra is to stock products with latest manufacturing dates. Two of my products are going to expire in April 2013. I know the expiry is months away and I'll probably finish off the product before that but I like my products to be newly manufactured. Just something that I'm a bit finicky about.

Myntra.com does have some sales and offers going on so don't forget to check it out. They also have a Maybelline offer going on where you get some free gifts if you purchase Maybelline products.
One of the main advantages of online shopping at Myntra is that you can get good discounts using their coupons and deals. While searching for such sources, I came across a website CouponzGuru, where you can get the Latest Myntra Coupons and deals, which will help you save money when you shop at Myntra.com

ReplyDeleteWell I just tried it twice - my first reaction was that it really isn't controlling the oil - but then right now the weather here is horrible - extremely humid. Will need to try it more before I can form an opinion.
