Iraya Henna Conditioning Shampoo Review

Iraya is known for its Ayurveda products and today I'm sharing my experience in using their Henna Conditioning Shampoo.

What the company claims:
"Gives bounce and volume with lustre. Improves hair texture.

For chemically damaged/ dull hair

With henna leaf extract, the essential oils of tea tree and rosemary, this conditioning shampoo cleanses the hair while improving its overall texture. Henna has been known since ancient times to give bounce and volume; tea tree wonderfully cleanses and adds lustre and shine."

My Experience
The Iraya Henna conditioning shampoo is a yellow colored shampoo. Its texture is a gel like base (not the regular creamy shampoos). The fragrance is not exactly henna but a blend of very mild fragrances - quite common to ayurvedic products.

It lathers well and leaves hair feeling very clean. I have used it after oiling of hair and it did a decent job of cleaning the hair of the oil without drying out my hair. Even without oil my hair feels really clean and soft after using this shampoo. It actually reminds me of the baby shampoos we used to have as kids, it's really mild but does the job well.

Price: Rs 345 (150 ml)

Overall I would rate this a 4/5 - taking off a point as it did not help in my hair fall which I would have loved.

Have you tried any products from the Iraya range? I have been using a hair pack from Iraya as well which I will share soon.

Do let me know how you take care of your lovely hair!
