Brianne from the Love Bri Products recently sent me a few polishes to try out. My first reaction - the bottles are so chic! And then I opened one of the polishes and loved the fragrance that reached my nose!
Today I will review the polishes along with their swatches. If you follow me on facebook then you must have seen a teaser in the Ruffle Nails nail art pic I had shared for the STNChallenges.
The Love Bri Products polishes are 5 free (free of the five known toxic ingredients in a lot of polishes) and apart from the wonderful smooth texture, they are fragrant. Yes these have a very light fragrance that just makes applying polish a pleasure!
Lets see the individual shades a bit close up. The first one on the list is Sweet Pea. This is a bright pink polish. Two strokes for a streak free opaque finish.
Lilac, as the name suggests, is a light purple polish - again a streak free opaque finish in two coats.
The last one is Baby Blues - a beautiful light blue color. This one is a little thinner than the others - I used three coats to get the opaque finish you see in the pictures. Bri Baby Blues has a heavenly vanilla fragrance, I feel like smelling my nails again and again :)
And I used all three of these lovely shades for the ruffle nail mani that you see in the picture. For ruffle nails all you do is dot closely with one color, follow up with another row of dots overlapping the previous row. Repeat this in different colors until you cover the entire nail - simple, fun and looks quite neat.
