When I was in college I would see only young girls like me sporting "artificial jewelry" with no precious metals like gold. While as a contrast all working women would sport golds and diamonds. This rift I have seen is slowly going away as more and more women like to experiment with faux stones, and also a bit of color in their jewelry. I have always been a fan of non-precious jewelry because there is no maintenance cost and there is no fear of theft specially while travelling in public transport. This is why I keep looking out for new places to shop from and new pieces to add to my kitty.
I recently came across Confusion Fashion Accessories and decided to try out a few pieces from their collection. Moving away from my usual dainty pieces I opted for larger more bolder pieces.

I'll just tell you in brief about the website. Confusionfa.com offers necklaces, anklets, rings, broaches, hair accessories and even a few pieces for the men. They have a COD option available and shipping is free on orders above Rs 1000. A lot of different material based jewelry is available on their website. From metal cuffs, semi-precious stones, pearls, and even thread based necklaces, they have them all.
From left to right in a clock wise manner let me tell you about each product. The leftmost product that looks almost like huge earrings is actually a pair of latkans - tassels that you can attach to your lehnga or choli. These are faux pearls and the central piece is a very thin sheet of metal - this makes sure the entire piece is very light in weight.
The next piece is a multi-string pearl bracelet - the pearls in front are slightly larger than the ones at the bottom. This is something I believe will look good with a simple black dress or a saree. Pearl bracelets also look good if you are wearing a pastel colored outfit.
Moving on towards the right is a bold necklace made of orange thread with heart shaped lock style pieces dangling at the center. Tell me what type of outfit do you think would be best to accessorize with this bold piece?
In the middle is a link chain design necklace with orange thread detailing running through the chain. In the center it has little drops of crystals hanging out.
And the last piece on this tray is a bracelet with a lovely Buddha head bead as the center piece.
I also got a broach and a long beaded necklace shown in the pics below. This beaded necklace I have worn in a FOTD which I will be sharing soon!
