Oriflame The ONE Color Unlimited Lipsticks - Review, Swatches, Price

Before the year ends I have another product review for you all and this one is something I hope you all will enjoy reading about. Oriflame has launched a new range of products called The ONE. I already reviewed The ONE Illuskin foundation some time back and today I am going to share the swatches of some gorgeous lipsticks from this range.

Oriflame The One Color Unlimited lipsticks come in a swivel stick form. Its a black body with details written in a lovely pale purple font. The lipsticks are claimed to be long stay and moisturizing.

I have tried four different shades from this range and found the lipsticks easy to use. The bullet is just the right size to fit perfectly on my lips. The lipstick is smooth in application. Initially it feels like a lip balm and even the color looks light - almost like I am applying a colored lip gloss. But with two-three coats it goes opaque hiding all lip discoloration. It takes a couple of minutes to set after which the lipstick stays on for a good 5 hours even with a meal in between. The lips do not feel dry at all during this time. My lips start getting parched in winters if I apply lipstick and I am a super happy girl with the moisturizing provided by these lipsticks.

The four shades I have swatched for you all are Fuchsia Express, Endless Red, Always Cranberry, and Forever Plum.

(And before going further with the actual swatches just want to remind you to participate in the giveaways up on the blog)

Fuchsia express is a bright fuchsia color, looks amazing in a single coat since it gives just a hint of pink to the lips. With two coats its an amazing bright pink that lifts up your face.

Endless Red is a lovely true red color with a very subtle hint of shimmer in it. The shimmer is not very visible in photographs but can be seen if you look very closely specially on the lipstick bullet. I need 3 coats to get the color seen in the swatch. For a single swipe this is the least pigmented of all the shades I tried but the color is buildable. Reminds me of the Rouge Caresse 403 Hypnotic Red from L'Oreal.

Always Cranberry - this is a pink toned shade somewhere between a red and a plum. This is a shade that would look amazing on fair skinned girls. It leaves behind a pale red stain after it wears out. On pigmented lips (like mine) it appears more red but if you don't have a pigmentation problem it will appear like the swatch you see.

Forever plum - this is my favorite shade out of all four, it is a lovely plum shade with no shimmer at all. This shade will look great on all skin tones.

All lipsticks give a really nice glossy finish that settles to an almost matte appearance once you have a tea or coffee. They do stain cups but much less than other non-matte lipsticks that I have tried. Even when the glossiness wears off lips don't feel dry or parched. After about 5 hours I did need to touch up with a lip balm.

Price: Rs 499 (1.7 gm)

Overall I think these are must try lipsticks. They have other shades available that you can check out.

My rating for these is a 5/5

The year has almost come to an end, do you feel nostalgic about the days gone by or do you look forward to the great things coming in store with the new year ahead? I am really looking forward to a great 2015, Amen!
