Unboxed: My Envy Box - Beauty Edition December

One box, cold winter months, and MAKEUP - yes, that is all you need for a little cheering up on days that let you down.

My Envy Box December edition is a beauty box. It comes with 3 makeup products and 1 skin care product. The box is red in color with a snowflake sweater print - very Christmas oriented and surely a nice gift for your girl friends.

So this month's box came with just 4 products - I'm just being greedy, I've been spoilt with a minimum of 5 products each month! But this month the box contains all four FULL SIZE products - yes all of them!
But is it worth your money? Read on....


Let's take a look at what all we got.

1. Bella Voste Lip Gloss [ full size Price Rs 599] - a high shine lip gloss with intense color. I got the shade Pop of Pink - a gorgeous coral pink lip gloss - reminds me of the Oriflame Vinyl Gel Lipsticks. I tried this along with teh Bella Voste lip liner and it stayed on for a long time. I'm going to test this out more before I give my final verdict. My initial reaction is - LOVE IT!

2. Bella Voste Lip Liner [ Full size Price Rs 549] - a really smooth pencil lip liner that gives a smudge proof finish. I got the color Hollywood Cerise. Its a beautiful plum pink lip color - very similar in shade to the L'Oreal Paris Collection Star Range Pure Amaranthe - a shade that instantly brightens the face. I am surely wearing this on its own. The lip liner is quite long lasting and needs a makeup remover to take it all off. To get the best result from this liner moisturize your lips well (if you plan to use it as a lipstick!)

3. Votre 5-in-1 Skin Perfecting Cream [ Full size, 30 gm, Price Rs 585 ] - this cream is meant to revitalize dull skin, improve skin texture, reduce pigmentation, moisturize the skin, and prevent ageing - the cream is ideal for all skin types. I just tried it once and it didn't feel too oily so I'm hoping it will actually work on my acne prone skin. I'm starting to use this as my night cream.

4. Vert - Gold Highlighter Powder [ Full Size, 10 gm, Price Rs 1295] - a 100% natural and vegan highlighter powder from Vert. The powder is made of french clay, turmeric, and jojoba oil. It has a very fine texture and can provide a natural glow to the skin without drying it out.

Overall I loved the box because the shade of lip-gloss as well as the lip liner are something that I really liked. The Votre skin cream is also something I'm going to start using straight away. As for the highlighter, this one's going to be used on special occasions unless it makes way into my nail art kit to lend a little gold dust!
