FACES Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed Powder - Review, Price, Swatches

Summers are here and so is the time to take out those pressed powders for finishing off your makeup.
Today I'm sharing the FACES Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed Powder. I have already reviewed the Faces Ultime Pro Second Skin Foundation

The packaging is very nice, a black container with silver embossed letters make it look chic. The lid opens to reveal the powder puff inside while the lower half opens up to reveal the actual product as well as a mirror. This is perfect for travelling.

The powder puff is nice and soft and gives a very even application. A tip - remember to press down the puff on your face instead of swiping it all over. Pressing it down allows the powder to settle easily without wasting product and also gives a more neater finish.

The powder itself is densely packed. It is fine and extremely smooth.
It comes in four different shades - Ivory, Natural, Beige and Sand.
The color I picked up is Beige which is a perfect match to my skin tone as you can see from the swatches.

The powder also has SPF 15 so its safe to wear even when you are out in the sun. It imparts an even finish that looks very natural on the skin. It does have medium coverage which means it will hide light spots or imperfections in your skin.

On days when my skin is behaving I like to just use this powder over a freshly washed face. It hides  most discolorations and stays put unless I touch my face too much. I use this with a powder brush as a final setting powder over makeup too. But be careful when using a brush, you don't want too much powder on your face else it will cause your foundation to cake up (combination skin problems!)

You can also prime your face, apply concealer on acne spots, and then cover up with the FACES Ultime Pro Second Skin Pressed Powder for an even finish, skipping foundation completely.

Overall I think this is a great buy especially for summers. If you have relatively blemish free skin this is your perfect face companion.

Let me know if you've tried this already. Also comment below with other face powders that have really worked well for you.

  1. I unfortunately can't use powders because they dry out my skin.

  7. Yes, definitely the parting and not the rubbing. We get so used to rubbing with blenders and brushes.
