How To Use A Fabric Shaver On Delicate Clothes

A fabric shaver is a nifty little device that helps you remove lint from your clothes. Lint is normally seen on woollens and while we are still far away from winters, you might notice lint on certain other fabrics as well. A fabric shaver basically shaves off the lint and fabric pills from your clothes. It is important to note that a fabric shaver must be gentle enough to only shave off the lint without damaging the cloth.

There are lots of fabric shavers available in the market. I have one from  Philips which I will be showing you as I tell you how to use a fabric shaver on delicate clothes.

The Philips fabric shaver is a cute little device in pink and purple. It comes with two batteries, a shaver protecting cap and a cleaning brush. There are no cords and it is light weight which means you can plop it in your bag wherever you go.

The fabric shaver houses a little compartment where all the lint gets accumulated. Once full you can simply slide it off, dust the lint out and reinsert it into its slot.

The fabric shaver has a large head so you can cover more area of the fabric in one go.

Once you have assembled your fabric shaver, inserted the batteries, then you follow these simple steps.

Outfit Post: Red Lace Dress

The week has almost come to an end, I know its still Thursday but in India the 6th of March is a holiday - its HOLI time! Before you get all soaked up in color check out today's outfit post.

Here's a dress that I wanted to share. Its a red lace maxi dress that I wore in the post I did a few days ago. Remember the red dress showing up in the pictures for an evening out hair do (check it HERE)

The dress is made of red floral lace with a black stretchable satiny fabric underneath. This gives dimension to the red color. On the waist area there are two plain red ribbon bands to cut the monotony of the lace. The fall of the fabric gives it a very dreamy romantic look. I wanted to play around a bit while doing the shoot so after my initial click I picked up these flowers and just posed :)

Ruckus - The Ruckus Girl & Her Death Crew

Ruckus Apparel, a company based in Colorado, creates unique clothing and accessories with the basic theme in mind that 'Good is the enemy of Great'. I find that thought quite interesting, something to surely ponder over.

The team at Ruckus sent me a surprise package of a T-shirt and Cap from their collection. But before I could notice these I noticed a sticker that said 'Death Crew' - so this package officiated me into their death crew! I am now a Ruckus Girl who is not afraid to better herself each day and to battle out the mediocre as there is no stopping on the path to the Great!

And now a peek into the t-shirt and cap I got. The T-Shirt is their official football t-shirt for girls - it has the number 19 on it. The shape is quite flattering but most of all I found the fabric to be so perfect for the humid climate we have these days. I proudly wore this out to a night out with friends sans the cap of course.
