Madam Glam Lipstick - Forever Young - Review, Swatch

Lipsticks, lipsticks, and more lipsticks! If I ever have to do a 'get rid of all your accumulations' ritual then i'm sure I'll fill up a huge big box of lipsticks! Lately you have seen some bright lipsticks on the blog but you would know by now that mostly I prefer natural looking lipsticks. And to add to that collection of MLBB (my lips but better!) lipsticks I have a lovely lipstick called Forever Young from Madam Glam cosmetics. I recently picked out two liquid and one matte lipstick from their range of lip products. The liquid lipsticks '' and 'Sangria' are already reviewed on the blog. 

Its time to take a look at the classic matte lipstick from Madam Glam. The lipstick comes in a black packaging, a little plump and short tube as compared to standard lipsticks. It has the logo on the cap and the finishing is matte to represent the product inside.

Hi friends, I am back with yet another post about lipsticks. This time two matte lipsticks from FACES Ultime Pro Velvet Matte collection.

These lipsticks are very differently packaged as compared to the Color Perfect lipsticks I shared. They come in a matte black packaging. The lid clicks on and stays put even when you keep the lipstick in your bag. Very classy chic packaging. And the shade label on the bottom is color coded to match the lipstick shade.

FACES Utlime Pro Velvet Matte lipsticks are smooth to apply, give a matte look, and do not dry the lips. You do need to exfoliate your lips properly before using them as matte lipsticks tend to highlight lip lines. 

Overall the texture is creamy and smooth. Proof and Just Looking both shades are opaque, a single swipe covers all lip pigmentation. Without food the lipstick lasts for a long time but one full meal and the lipstick fades on the inner part of the lips. Since the lipsticks are non staining you must reapply immediately after having food else the lips look horrible. With such lipsticks I prefer to use a staining lip liner underneath. Doing so not only increases the staying power but also ensures that your lips are not left bare with an outline of lipstick after you have your meal.

I recently purchased 4 lip colors and this one is the first one I'll be sharing. The color is numbered 41.  The pictures of the refills are taken in natural light as well as sunlight to give you an idea of how the shade looks. The actual in person color is the same as it appears in the lip swatch.
