My Beauty Wish List - Which Ones Do You Own?

While 2013 has already crossed the mid way mark, there are some products I'm still waiting to own. From Sigma, Nars, Bobbi Brown and more, this list is just a tip of the ice berg. You know a girl can never have too much makeup can she?

The products on this list include the Revlon nail art expressionist and the mint green nail paint from Bourjois. In the eye makeup range I am waiting to get my hands on the Neutral extended wear eye liner range from Sigma.

I am also eyeing the gorgeous velvet matte lip pencil from NARS. I think its a lovely shade for the coming fall months. And to match it up is the NARS cosmetics eye shadow palette specially for fall 2013. Aren't those colors simply rich looking?

Bobbi Brown has made its debut in Select City Walk mall in Saket but I haven't had the chance to go over there yet. Their lipsticks look stunning!

A couple of other items that I wish to own are the Clinique chubby stick for the lips, a color correcting primer from NYX, a lovely blush from Dior and the uniquely shaped Smart Liner from Sephora.

What are you wishing to buy in the near future? Any of these items also top your list?

Color Me Purple - Fashion Under $50

Here is another outfit post - Color Me Purple - my picks for a purple casual day out. The good thing here is that all these items are priced under $50

Color Me Purple

So if you had to color one day of your dressing in the royal shade of purple how would you style it?

Oh by the way - I am in love with sling or cross-body bags - just can't get enough of them!

How To Get the Beauty Look: Celebrity Natural Look Using Budget Products

Getting the perfect natural looking skin is not easy. Celebs do it perfectly because they have an experienced team of professionals taking care of their makeup. But here are the basic steps that you can do using budget products to achieve the perfect natural look.
Get the Beauty Look: Celebrity Natural Look Using Budget Products

Step 1. You need to have a perfect canvas for a natural look. So start off with a face primer. If you have blemishes chose a primer that is a color corrector like the one from NYX. This will prime your skin and also conceal the blemishes/large pores in one go.

Step 2. Use an eye primer and apply it all over the lids. This will give you a crease-less application of eye shadow and also help the eye shadow last longer. You can use the MUA eye primer or the one from Victoria's Secret.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Cherish - Review, Swatch and FOTD

Everywhere you look today you will see at-least one post raving about the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. The cute packaging, the lovely colors and all the claims are sure to draw you towards this 'chubby' pencil.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Cherish

I have the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the shade Cherish. Its a blue based light pink shade which we will talk about in a bit. The lip balm stain itself has a peppermint fragrance which is not too strong on the lips (but if you have a very sensitive nose you will get bothered by the fragrance until it dies off in about 10  minutes) The stain needs to be applied to well exfoliated lips else it shows up patchy on the lips. It does feel cool on application because of the peppermint I think.

The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains come in thick pencil forms. The pencil is of the same color as the product inside. The end of the pencil is silver in color while the cap is the same as the rest of the body. It is a retractable pencil so you never need to sharpen it.

Revlon Moisturshine Cocoa Sparkles - Review

A sparkly pink color for the lips that can be worn day or night - Revlon Moisturshine Cocoa Sparkles is one such lipstick.

Revlon Moisturshine Cocoa Sparkles

The Revlon moisturshinesparkes lipsticks come in a wide range of colors each with a hint of shimmer. The color Cocoa Sparkles is a pink color with a brown undertone. The shimmer is prominent but not glittery.

Moisturshine sparkles lipsticks come in a pretty silver packaging with a light gold inner part. The lid has a mirror like top which you can use when applying this lipstick on the go.

The Cocoa Sparkles shade is light and hence does not cover all pigmentation of the lips (as you can see in the swatch below) but gives a very nice natural look. The shade would look very pretty on light skinned beauties and would look quite naturally glamorous for all skin types.
