Nail Art Using Revlon Matte Nail Polishes and Ejiubas Nail Vinyls

After many days of bare nails I finally decided to do some basic nail art. Revlon has recently launched pretty shades of nail enamels in a matte range which I wanted to try out and I also got a pack of nail vinyls from Ejiubas so I really had no reason to keep my nails bare anymore.

Before I show the nail art I tried let me share a bit about the polishes and nail vinyls.

Revlon matte nail paints come in cute matte bottles which gives them a dreamy look. The good thing about matte polishes is that you sort of have two finishes in one bottle - well technically it is a matte polish, but all it takes to transform it into a glossy finish is your regular top coat.

The shades I picked out are Sunny Matte, Cool Matte and Marine Matte.

Sunny Matte - 528 - is a lovely creamy yellow.
Cool Matte - 527 - is a blue polish
Marine Matte - 529 - is a sea green coloured polish.

How To Get Matte Nails - El Corazon Matte Effect Neon 147

While the whole nail community goes gaga over blingy glitter nails ( I love them too!) wearing matte nails is a pleasant breather.

Matte nails look quite sophisticated in my opinion and the easiest way to achieve matte nails is by using a matte polish. El Corazon has some gorgeous matte polishes. I have already shared the Matte Effect n116 and the shade I am sharing today is a loud neon shade - Matte Effect Neon 147.

This is a bright purple neon shade which surprisingly looked very elegant to me on my own nails. I love seeing such colors on other people but never thought I'd like it for myself.

Matte Effect Neon 147 is an opaque polish and does not chip with a good base coat underneath. This is a great shade for winters because it is bound to take away your blues on sunless winter mornings. When applying any matte nail polish make sure to work quickly because matte polishes tend to dry faster. Quick application will ensure that you get a streak free application.

A gorgeous matte polish from El Corazon Matte Effects N116. I cannot find the name of this polish although I am sure it does have a proper name too.

 The polish goes on streak free in two coats. I did a simple negative space striping nail art using the polish. I think this is a perfect office wear polish and something you can wear with almost any outfit.
