August Vellvette Box (Bag) 2013

After some misplaced cartons, a long delay and a lot of waiting, my August Vellvette Bag (yes its a bag again this time) is finally here.

 I really liked the black bag, I actually liked the pink one as well, the quality is nice and it is quite spacious to store things easily.

Alright now coming back to what I got in the bag. I got 1 full sized product which is the lip gloss from Sally Hansen.

My July Vellvette Box is here nicely wrapped in a gorgeous pink ribbon. The theme this month is quick fixes. Mine though looks like a nail art special box but I'm not complaining at all!

May Vellvette Box

I am super happy with my May Vellvette Box for two reasons. First reason is that my box came in one piece, no broken corners and no torn boxes, finally!!!!

 Love the organic theme and the dried flowers inside.

The second reason is the sample of products that it contains. I got a total of 5 products because I have one bonus (due to 6 month subscription) and one extra because I won a contest.

I got the following in my box
1. The Nature's Co Face Wash (already used this twice and I like it I think)
2. Shiseido Intensive Spot Targeting Serum - have started using this and I am hoping it will work as per its claims - I really need this one to work :)
3. Flormar Lipstick in shade D34 - it is a lovely red shade but texture is like rubber - something is wrong with my sample :(
4. Brocato Shampoo and Conditioner - will have to try these to see how they fare
5. TVAM Scrub & Body Polisher (love the smell of this one)

So now I have a series of products to try out but as always the reviews will come up once the products have been tested out thoroughly. So stay tuned!

My Vellvette April Box

Received my Vellvette box for April about 2-3 day back. I'm happy to have received the Motives Mardi Grass palette but my box came all torn (again - my box is always broken but this time an entire corner was missing!)

Another thing that made me not so happy is that I got a lip gloss again (in my March box also I got a lip gloss - details HERE) I really wish I had got a lipstick instead, have been waiting to get a lipstick in my box since a long time now!

Will update you with details about the products once I've used them for a good enough time.

PS: I was going to upload the picture of my torn box but I've not put it up here - even looking at the pic makes me sad :(

Hi Friends

I had received my Vellvette box almost a week ago but did not get a chance to write about it.

The theme for March was Holi and hence the colorful ribbon. The contents are not as colorful per say but the products are much better this time around.

Since I have subscribed for 6 months I got two extra samples this time. The Amino Collagen powder (I don't plan to eat this at all - its non vegetarian plus I'm not eating any powders - full stop!) I might feed these to my plants instead, or try and make a face pack out of it - any other fun suggestions are most welcome!

I also got the Ofra Acne Face Mask in a tiny tub (see that round pot in the box) - this seems promising and has already been put to test, waiting to see how it fares before I put up a review on this.

What I really liked in the box is the Clinique face wash and the NYX Lip Gloss. I might add the lip gloss in a giveaway because right now I have too many glosses - I have left this untouched so that either this goes in a giveaway or in a blog sale.

Reviews on products will come in the weeks to follow after they have either passed or failed my tests so that I can give a proper verdict on them!
