In my March Vellvette box I got a small pot of OFRA acne treatment mask. I have used this for over 2 weeks now and am ready to spill the beans.

My sample came in a tiny pot with a black lid. Original packaging is also a tub packaging.

The mask is white in color and has a very strong fragrance of clove oil. Clove oil is known to heal acne. Texture of the mask is like clay based masks.

What the company claims

"Acne Treatment Mask is suitable for problem skin, acne, pimples or monthly eruptions associated with menstruation. It is also ideal for getting rid of newly formed pimples. Acne Treatment Mask consists of a strong formula, which will assist in drying and healing pimples within a few hours of use. Ofra Cosmetics Laboratories' Acne Treatment Mask contains sulfur which is a powerful ingredient to kill bacteria and heal the skin (not recommended for people allergic to sulfur). 

Apply a thin layer directly on pimples and erupted area in the evening before bedtime and leave on through the night. Wash off in the morning. In case of acne apply once a week all over as a mask and wash after 10 minutes, avoiding the eye area. "

In my February Velvette box I got a little bottle of OFRA B5 Serum. Its a moisturizing serum meant for combination and oily skin. Said to have antioxidants it promises a lot.

My Experience with OFRA B5 Serum (combination skin)

I have combination skin which is currently suffering with active acne. In winters my skin is extremely dry around the corners of the lips while the nose still decides to be an oil producing factory! When I got this serum I was really confused. The little pamphlet that came with it said it was meant for oily and combination skin but the company website says its good for people who suffer from dehydrated skin. I thought anything meant for dehydrated skin might cause breakouts. But I still wanted to give it a try so I started with a small area on the face. When it felt non oily I ventured out whole heartedly.

I have been using this serum for almost 4 weeks now and I thought I had tried it enough to share my experience about the OFRA B5 Serum.

Behind The Scenes

While I am busy testing out a few products I thought I'd share with you what is happening behind the scenes.

For starters I am trying out the Ofra B5 serum and my initial reaction is very positive. Let me test it out for some more time before I give my verdict on this product.

I also received a couple of sachets of the newly launched Dabur Vatika Henna and Olive Shampoo and their hair oil. I have tried the shampoo - again very positive initial reaction but I need to try it some more. I've passed on the oil to my mom as I strictly don't use any hair oil so the review for the hair oil will come from her.

Also I've been shopping a lot through my Facebook friends and although I don't have a single pic of all the recent purchases here is a peep at the anklet I recently bought - I love how sleek and simple it is - very elegant.

And last but not the least, here are two earrings I bought from Jabong.com - they had sent me a discount voucher of Rs 500 for Women's day and delivered the products the very next day! I am really happy with the earrings.
