Since these days everyone is busy taking part in the electric eye and smoky eye contests (including myself!) I thought it was high time I posted about the Mystic Blue 13 eye shadow duo from Faces Glam On range.
The packaging is very nice and handy. It’s a black little box containing a mirror and an applicator (with sponge tips) – both very handy and travel friendly.
It’s a duo created to give you mystical eyes in two simple colors using a bit of blue and some silver shimmer.
The flash did not eat up the color – the colors are actually very light – it’s a light blue and silver combo. If you notice carefully you can see the applicator with two ends made of sponge and it says FACES on the handle (click to enlarge the pic)
What the company claims: “Advanced long-wear with powdery texture and crease-proof formula, is all what it takes to define Faces Glam On duo Eye Shadow. Designed as two lovely pools of color and packed along with two-sided applicator, it is easy to apply and can easily blend along with other colors. Leaves you with those enchantingly dreamy eyes!”
If you look carefully at the swatches you can see the difference in colors – the top swatch is of the blue color while the bottom swatch is of the silver color.
The texture of these eye shadows is very smooth and silky and the staying power is also good.
Here is a eye look I did using these eye shadows only and some eye liner.
The blue and silver combo add just the right amount of mystique to your eyes. The shades are very pretty and can be used during the day time as well (I will not recommend for office but if you are going out with friends then this will work)
It reminds me of Cinderella and princesses from our favorite cartoon movies!
