FACES Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayons: Put-Me-On, Divine-Rose and Girl-Next-Door Swatches

FACES has come out with a few more shades in their Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon range. For a full review on the texture and longevity of these crayons you can read my review on Midnight Rose

A quick recap - these crayons come with a plastic cap, the pencil is the same color as the product and their texture is extremely smooth and creamy.

I have 3 shades from their latest launch. These are Put Me On, Divine Rose and Girl Next Door.

Put Me On is a gorgeous red with a pink undertone.

Divine Rose is a soft peach shade.

Girl Next Door is a vivacious pink with blue undertones

Lighter shades do tend to enhance dry lips so it is important to moisturize your lips before using any matte product.

A little round pot of joy - that is what I call this cute little product from FACES cosmetics. This is the Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder.

The packaging is cute, a black pot with a silver screw lid. The lid  houses the powder puff inside. The base is nice and flat so that the pot can stand upright without toppling over.

The packaging is very travel friendly.

The powder has a very faint fragrance that is not noticeable within seconds of application. 

Texture of the powder is extremely fine and smooth.

The colors in this palette are purple, bright blue, fuschia pink and a teal green color. Purple, blue and teal have a very light shimmer in them while the pink appears quite matte. The eye shadows are lightweight and have a smooth creamy texture. The colors blend easily. The colors are long lasting (without a primer they stay on for a good 4-5 hours) - the Glam On range is meant to be a long lasting range and is said to be formulated with special toners for that long-lasting hold. These are also safe to use as the company claims these are preservative free.

The shade Second Skin is a gorgeous neutral shade with brown undertones. It instantly reminded me of my Maybelline Colorama Dusky (reviewed HERE) but the dusky has more pink undertones while this has no pink undertones.

Product
The powder comes in a very cute packaging. It comes in a small plastic broad based bottle with a black screw cap. The cap has a convenient mirror on the top. Inside there is a sponge applicator head which attaches to the bottle and can be used directly to apply the powder to the face.

When you take off the main cap, you will find a screw cap with the sponge applicator. Unscrew this and there, as a protection for the powder, preventing it from spilling out, was a small plastic tray. You need to take this out and screw back the sponge applicator. The sponge applicator has holes underneath that can allow the powder to come through. The plastic tray need not be replaced once opened. The powder will not spill out as long as your sponge applicator cap is properly screwed on.

Who doesn’t want long beautiful hair, well if not long we all do want soft silky hair, don’t we? Can a brush or comb actually help in achieving the hair you want? Since these days everyone is busy taking part in the electric eye and smoky eye contests (including myself!)  I thought it was high time I posted about the Mystic Blue 13 eye shadow duo from Faces Glam On range.

The packaging is very nice and handy. It’s a black little box containing a mirror and an applicator (with sponge tips) – both very handy and travel friendly.

Faces Glam on Lip Gloss - Review

I am a big fan of lip gloss. In fact till about 2 years ago my kitty only had glosses (and one lipstick!)
The lip gloss to me has to be shiny, moisturizing and have a fruity fragrance and/or taste I keep trying different glosses even though the previous ones are not yet over. I will try and review the older ones too but for today I am going to review a lip gloss from Faces Canada.

My local grocery shop stocks a lot of nice cosmetics and I had seen the Faces brand stocked up there. Most of the products they had were bath products. But I knew the brand had surely arrived in India.
That is when I decided to give their lip gloss a try. The gloss comes in a plastic packaging with a brush tip applicator.
