Come summers and we see a burst of color all around. I love the bright colors that are almost synonymous with summer and SS13 has brought with it a burst of neon all around. So the otherwise conservative me is now experimenting with bright pinks!!! OK, well its not really a neon pink that I'm talking about but very close!

I have earlier used the Faces Lipsticks and quite liked them. So when I got a lipstick from the Faces Ultime Pro collection I was quite hopeful about the quality of the product.
First lets talk about the ultra chic packaging and overall appeal of the lipstick before we venture into details about the Flirty Pink shade.

The lipstick comes in a long twist up stick form in jet black matte packaging. The logo is printed in silver and makes it look classy.

The lipstick is priced at Rs 600 for 2.5 gm which is in between the drugstore price range (like Maybelline) and starting range of high end brands like MAC.

The
texture is
smooth and creamy but it tends to accentuate the fine lines so it is best to moisturize the lips prior to application. After application you feel like you have nothing on your lips, its absolutely
weightless on the lips.

Faces Ultime Pro Lipstick - Staying Power and Pigmentation
The lipstick has a staying power of a good 4 hours and then fades off to leave a soft stain on the lips. It fades to a stain after a heavy meal. With no meal in between it will stay on longer.
Pigmentation is very good - a single coat is good to cover lip pigmentation. Can be layered without feeling heavy on the lips.

The shade flirty pink is a lovely bright pink color with a hint of blue undertones. It simply pops up your face with a burst of color. On my medium skin tone it looks really nice but layering on another coat makes it look very bright for my taste.

On fairer skin tones the color would look absolutely wonderful. I think duskier skin tones can carry this off as well depending on your personal taste.
This lipstick can be used over clear gloss by simply dabbing the stick - this gives a lovely pink tint to the lips instead of the bright pink color.

I hope you liked the review. I would love to try out other shades from this range because once I apply it I can forget about reapplication as long as I am in office. Have you tried any lipstick from this range - what is your favourite pick?
