Last month I had to attend a wedding and needed a face primer to make sure my makeup would last for a long time. I did not want to splurge in an online purchase (had no time to visit a counter and check out different primers) so I did some google search and found this primer from Korres - Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Face Primer.

The cheapest price for this primer was around Rs 596 on strawberrynet.com - the price was for a travel sized pack of 10ml. This was perfect for me to try out a new product. Since reviews by fellow bloggers were quite good I took the chance.

My Experience With Korres - Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Face Primer

The first time I used this face primer was on the day of the wedding itself (did not get a chance to try it earlier) - I was happy with the fresh citrus fragrance and the soft non greasy texture of the primer. It is a white colored cream that simply vanishes on your skin. I applied it all over the face. After 10 minutes I applied my foundation - I did not notice any difference in the application although my skin was feeling softer to touch.

When I did return from the wedding my makeup was intact - not an inch had it budged and I was very impressed.

Then I though I'd try this primer again for the other qualities that are claimed. So I did a before and after picture for you guys to see for yourself.

I see no visible difference in my skin after applying the primer. The after pic was taken 15 minutes after application. But when I touch the skin it feels much more softer and smoother than it was before. It takes away all patchy dryness from the skin as well.

I can't say much about the wrinkle claim but I would have really loved it had it been able to give a visible difference to my skin as well.

Overall I am sticking to this primer for making my foundation last long. When this finishes I will do a proper counter trial of different primers to see if I can find one that I really like.
