An Update On My Blogging With Dell Venue 7

Hi everyone, so I have continued to post using my Dell Venue 7. You must have noticed a lesser frequency of updates here but that is because I haven't been keeping too well lately - the heat is just driving me nuts!

Anyhow I thought I will just update you all on how my blogging experience using the Dell Venue 7 is going and I would like to say I am currently enjoying this little tablet. I still haven't tried calling using the tablet but I plan to do that sometime next week. (Oh and there is a nail art I did recently at the end of this post too!)

I also want to just let you know the basic features of this tablet in a gist - for more details about it you can actually visit this LINK and check it out.

So there are two versions of the Dell Venue out there - the 7-inch version (which I have) and another slightly larger 8-inch version. As I already mentioned the look of this tablet is gorgeous with its plain glass front face with no button markings. You only see a small circular cutout which is there for the front-facing camera. A rubberized ring surrounds the glass which makes sure that even when I place it face down, the glass never touches the surface I place it on.

The back and sides are a single plastic shell, made out of soft-touch rubberised plastic. large silver Dell badge right in the middle of the rear panel, with its main camera centred above it and an Intel logo along with regulatory badges below. Venue 7's is totally flush with the body.

The microUSB charging ports and volume buttons are on the upper left side while the upper side hosts the power button and the headset socket.
Currently I am getting over 5 hours of use time with random net surfing, blogging, and watching videos across a span of two days and I leave the Venue 7 running in standby mode for the rest of the time during these two days.

The only major drawback I am seeing so far is that I cannot rely on its camera for my blog pictures - not even in bright light. The camera software is pretty average and the camera itself is a meager 3-megapixel (lets not even talk about the front camera which is a VGA unit).

Well why do I still continue to use it - simple - the touch is super smooth - in fact I am very impressed with the touch.

You can purchase this tablet HERE on amazon India or HERE on amazon US - its on discount. Flipkart lovers can purchase it HERE

And now coming to my nail art - here is a picture of a nail art I shared on instagram a few days back - this is my take on the ILLChallenge of Glossy & Matte

I did this using color show Denim Dash and Blackcurrant Pop from Maybelline.
Hope you liked my nail art and do let me know if there is something you wish to try out on a tablet that you would like me to try and give you feedback on.

Have great weekend!
