Dell Venue 7 and My Karva Chauth Henna & Nail Art

Yesterday was Karva Chauth, a festival celebrated by Indian women to pray for the longevity of their husband. They wake up early morning, pray to God and start a 'Nirjal' fast for the whole day - no food and most importantly no water for the whole day. They open their fast after looking at the moon through a sieve. The whole day is spent adorning hands and feet with henna, dressing up and keeping one self busy so that the thirsty dry throat becomes a non-issue.

I was supposed to do a Karva Chauth special nail art yesterday. But I was superly busy applying henna to my hands and was pretty low on energy and hence skipped doing something too intricate for my nails.

But what I did do was use my Dell Venue 7 tablet to click pictures. I know I have raved and ranted about the fact that I don't like the camera on the tablet. But since I was up early it meant I had all the sunlight I wanted to use the camera of the tablet. So I used it for clicking my henna and my final nails. I also edited the pictures on the tablet.

First let me show you my henna (if you follow me on instagram and facebook you must have already seen these)

A Month Of Dell Venue And Some Random Updates

Its been a while since I've been blogging with the Dell Venue.
Actually its been over a month now. I know I was supposed to increase my blogging frequency but I've just not been able to. I won't bore you with health and other details, just trying to keep up with the posts as best as I can.

I actually picked up the Venue tab almost after a week, thankfully the battery is still alive. I want to make a video to show it to you all properly but haven't been able to shoot yet.

All the images I'm sharing here have been edited on the Dell Venue. I'm quite glad that this has an android platform. Switching between the phone and the Dell Venue is a breeze.

Yesterday evening I had the chance of meeting Yami Gautam and Aditya Roy Kapoor at an event. Will share the details in a separate post.

And on the beauty front I have been using products from Kronokare, a henna shampoo and a neem body scrub.

I also have some new makeup from a New Zealand based brand Living Nature. All products have been photographed. The posts of course will follow soon. If there is any preference then do let me know.

I also tried the Maybelline Insta Glam Box and loved the shades that came in my box. Will instagram a look I did using them while the review will be posted right here on the blog.

An Update On My Blogging With Dell Venue 7

Hi everyone, so I have continued to post using my Dell Venue 7. You must have noticed a lesser frequency of updates here but that is because I haven't been keeping too well lately - the heat is just driving me nuts!

Anyhow I thought I will just update you all on how my blogging experience using the Dell Venue 7 is going and I would like to say I am currently enjoying this little tablet. I still haven't tried calling using the tablet but I plan to do that sometime next week. (Oh and there is a nail art I did recently at the end of this post too!)

I also want to just let you know the basic features of this tablet in a gist - for more details about it you can actually visit this LINK and check it out.

So there are two versions of the Dell Venue out there - the 7-inch version (which I have) and another slightly larger 8-inch version. As I already mentioned the look of this tablet is gorgeous with its plain glass front face with no button markings. You only see a small circular cutout which is there for the front-facing camera. A rubberized ring surrounds the glass which makes sure that even when I place it face down, the glass never touches the surface I place it on.

My New Gadget - Blogging On The Go

Hi friends, have been facing power cuts and a floppy internet connection because of which I haven't been regular lately. Not sure if you follow my other blog, if you do you would know that I have been trying out various devices to find out something that I can use for blogging on the go.

For the next few months I am going to play around with a new gadget that I got. I am writing this post using my new toy! I'm playing around with the Dell Venue 7 tablet that launched some time in January this year. Most of you gadget freaks must have read about it already but I'm here just to share my experience from a blogging perspective. So the posts that you see in the days to follow will be written using this tab (and so you will have to hear my rants on how the Dell Venue is working out for my needs.
