Godrej has launched this new hair color at a super affordable price, and in four different shades with the goodness of coconut and henna. The shades available are Natural Black, Natural Brown, Dark Brown and Burgundy.
Each packet contains one color sachet and one developer sachet.

The formula is non-dripping and ammonia free. An allergy test is still recommended because some people are perennially allergic to any hair colorant no matter how safe the product is.
I do have greying and opt for hairstyles that help to hide the grey areas. The first time I applied hair color was in the form of highlights I got done at the Lakme Salon. I am really scared of colouring my hair whatsoever. But now that the highlights are wearing off the hair is turning lighter. To try out the Godrej Nupur Coconut Henna Crème Hair Color I decided to color the fading areas and get them to look normal again. For longer hair, you would need 2-3 packs, but if you are touching up specific areas then one is sufficient.
The hair colour is simple to use, simply mix together the two sachets – the colour that is henna green in color and the developer that is white. I prefer to use a glass container to mix hair color.
The mixed color and developer has a thick texture and does not have a bad odour that is normally there in a lot of hair colors. It smells of coconut oil!
After mixing both the sachets simply use a hair coloring brush and apply it evenly all over the hair. I applied it over the areas that needed a touch-up. Left it on for 30 minutes and then rinsed with plain water. Followed it up with a shampoo. I had applied the dark brown mixed with the black (mixed all ingredients from both packets together). This gave a very natural color to the lightened hair (my hair is naturally jet black in color but due to highlights it is now a dusty black brown where the highlights are wearing off)
A friend who colors her hair very often agreed to try out the burgundy hair color variant. She quite liked it. Specially because
it doesn't make the hair dry, in fact actually nourishes it and gives it a shine.
After coloring I recommend using a mild shampoo to clean your hair. Using a mild shampoo ensures that the color lasts longer.
