This year during the fall season I have a cousin's wedding to attend. While searching for latest designs in sarees I came across Simaaya Fashions. I am helping my cousin do her shopping and wanted to purchase a single piece to make sure the quality is good enough. After browsing their website I narrowed down on one saree that looked nice and festive to me.

The saree came wrapped in a plastic cover safely placed inside a cardboard box.

The good thing about this particular saree is that it can be worn as a lehnga too. The saree is a half-an-half saree with net pleats and a crepe pallu.
The blouse is an art silk piece of fabric with work for the sleeves. The border has pearl and mirror work while the pleats have thread work. The color is a pink and deep peach combo. The pallu does appear very red in certain light conditions.

This particular saree costs Rs 6845. Overall based on my experience in stores I think it has a good material and the price is reasonable too. It also came with a matching petticoat unstitched piece of fabric in shantoon.

What a lovely colour of saree you have! My father once went on a business trip to India & I asked him to purchase one for me - it's a gorgeous combination of mint & gold. BUT, even with instructions, it was so difficult to wear (all those pleats!). So its just sitting pretty in my closet. :)

This place is a very nice place for a wedding and worth looking into. While I didn't have my own wedding here, I've seen the place in all its decked out glory. On a smaller scale, we had our prom at Seattle Wedding venues. This truly is a beautiful building with fabulous views.
