Unboxing: My Envy Box - June Beauty Paraben Free

Hi everyone!

It's time to share the contents of the June My Envy Box. This month the luxury box is all about natural skin care. There are four full sized products and one sample product.

The box is such a refreshing bubble gum colored one, quite unlike the earthy products inside.

1. Shankara Deep Cleanse Facial Ubtan (Rs 700 for 70gm)

The ubtan comes in a powder form and works as a cleanser, a scrub and a mask. You can mix the powder with a little bit of rose water, lemon juice or milk depending on your skin type. Rose water usually works well for all skin types. Lemon is great for oily skin while milk acts as a moisturiser for dry skin.

Shankara Deep Cleanse ubtan is paraben free and an all herbal product. I think this is a good product to use specially for the summer months.

2. Plump - Gold Dust Body Oil (Rs 1499 for 50ml)

I was really looking out for an oil that I can use in replacement for my moisturiser because I'm trying to go all natural and chemical free. This sounds promising with the base of grapeseed oil. It is quite expensive but considering the claim for real 24K gold, I hope this works well. It also contains Vitamin E oil, Ylang Ylang essential oil, orange oil and lemon grass oil.

3. Elenblu Waterproof Mascara (Rs 599 for 8gm)

This is a jet black mascara with a wand that has a rounded tip (sort of) to give high volume lashes. With the rainy season approaching this is a must have in every girls vanity. Voluminous lashes make a huge difference to the way your face looks so this is another good product to try out.

4. Ras Luxury Oils - Skin Clearing Face Elixir ( Rs 470 for 3gm)

Now this is a high end luxury product that is being raved about. Made up of essential oils this serum is targeted towards leaving you with clear skin specially if you have acne. It has to be used on a clean face and just a few drops are good enough for the entire face.

5. Bio Bloom - Facial Scrub Gel (Rs 350 for 50ml)

A face scrub that contains essential oils of ylang ylang, rose, aloe vera and walnut particles to scrub away dead skin cells without leaving you with parched skin. I've started using this already and really like how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized but not oily. The walnut particles are very fine and gentle enough for a good scrub.

Overall a good value for money box once again. Which of these products excite you the most?

Winters are quietly settling in and this month's My Envy Box is packed with skin and hair care that is perfect for some winter TLC.

The box itself is beautiful - with a maple leaf on it - it's a keeper.

Inside the box are products from Kronokare, Alanna, Seer Secrets, Luxaderme, Coccoon, and Tjori. Along with these there are two gift vouchers of Rs 500 each of LabelKiss and The Label Life.

Unboxed: My Envy Box - Anniversary Special October 2017

October is My Envy Box's anniversary month. They came out with a black box this time - very classy - and full of quite a few interesting skin care products. And scroll to the end to find out what is the total value of this month's box (after all we need to make sure we get value for our money!)

The first product that I noticed when I opened the box was the KinGirls Macarons.

KinGirls Macarons are face masks that come in such luxurious looking circular packets. Each face mask is priced at Rs 520. Quite a high price for a sheet mask but these are said to contain special extracts to really make a difference to your skin. Haven't tried them but find them quite interesting. There are two masks in the box - Truffle and Cocoa 3D Face Mask, and Raspberry Extract Invisible Face Mask.

A bright blue box arrived at my work desk and my Monday blues were surely gone! My Envy Box June edition came with products that are all winners for me. Let's dive in and see what all we have inside!

So what came inside the box - a total of 6 products worth a total of Rs 2850
There are products from Vetro, essence cosmetics, Votre, a perfume vial and 2 sachets from Forest Essentials. 

Let's first quickly talk about the sample sized products before we move onto the larger full sized ones. 

The box came with two sachets (one each) of a day cream and a night cream targeted for teenage skin. Forest Essentials products are usually good so even though I'm not a teenager I'll give these a try just to see the texture of the products. These two sachets have product worth over Rs 250 each!

Next I'll talk about the perfume vial - this is something I always look forward to in My Envy Box. This time my box contains a sample of Dahlia Divin from Givenchy. This is a floral perfume with a woody undertone. The full size of this product costs Rs 7450 for 75ml (the vial turns out to be around Rs 200!)

Talk about summers and you will surely talk about summer fruits. My Envy Box this month came in a pretty box with one of my favorite summer fruits printed on it - I'm talking about watermelons!

I've used Omorfee products before. The box contains two vials of 4ml each. This toner is meant to enhance your skin with the goodness of Sour Honey and Rose essence. The samples are good for travel.

Ruby's Organics Lipstick - Brick [Full size price Rs 990 for 3.7 gm] - this is a crayon based lipstick which is retractable and smells divine. It has a vanilla fragrance that is very gentle. The texture is smooth and creamy and it goes opaque in a single coat. This one is a great product in the box.

1. Fran Wilson Moodmatcher Lipstick in Green (Full Size - Price: Rs 590) - this is the most fun product I found in the box. A green coloured lipstick that is going to change color when you apply it on your lips. On my lips it turned a beautiful luscious red. The texture is that of a lip balm and this lipstick just stays - like forever because it leaves behind a matte lip stain that won't budge!
