Esqido False Eyelashes and Glue - Review

I love wearing makeup but always something that is understated. That is one reason I never tried false lashes but I absolutely adore how makeup artists create spectacular eye makeup looks complete with false lashes.

When Esqido contacted me to know if I'd like to try out their false lashes, I thought to myself, well maybe I won't wear them all the time but I can definitely try them out for special occasions. So here is my review of two different false eyelashes from Esqido - EL 213 Night Bouquet, and EL 205 Lash Named Desire. I will also be sharing my views on the false eyelash glue from Esqido.

Every pair of Esqido eyelashes is handcrafted. They are made of 100% mink hair and are absolutely gentle to touch. They come boxed in a gorgeous white and rose gold packaging. The eyelash box itself melted my heart with its good looks.

The eyelashes feel very natural to touch. Once you apply them correctly they look natural and can turn your eyes into the most sexiest ever. Esqido lashes come in different designs going from the very subtle ones to the ultra glam lashes.

Lash Named Desire is more of the sultry kind. These add medium volume to the lashes. These pair of false lashes have a winged out look and are criss-crossed. This adds that glamorous touch to your eyes making them look seductive. These were slightly longer for my eye shape so I had to trim them before application.

It dries fast and settles to a waterproof finish.

The matte taupe brown shade can be used to add depth to the crease area, it can be used all over the lid to give a taupe color to the lids, and you can gently swipe this to contour your nose and cheekbones as well.

I am back with the review of one of my favourites from the new L'Oreal Paris Collection launched for Cannes 2015. I am sharing with you details and swatches about the 36H Super Liner Gel Intenza. The shade I have is called Diamond Black (03).

L'Oreal Paris Gel Intenza super liner comes in a box containing the liner and a very nice application brush. The liner itself is in a tiny little glass pot with a silver lid. I love the packaging because everything looks perfect. 

I am so glad that the applicator brush provided with the liner is of a very nice quality. It is extremely soft and makes the application smooth.

Faces Magnetyes Kajal is a new product from Faces Canada. The kajal pencil comes in a striking red twist up pencil form and is claimed to last you all day long.

Magnetyes Kajal is enriched with Vitamin E. The twist up pencil is great because there is no need for sharpening and hence less product wastage.

The texture is amazingly smooth. It simply glides on the eyelids and waterline. When you look at the pencil stick itself you will agree that this looks the blackest of all kajals out there in the market today. I have extremely watery eyes so I needed two swipes on my waterline but on the upper lid I use this as a liner and a single swipe is enough.

It takes a few seconds to settle down so if you want you can smudge it well before it settles. This is great to create smokey eyes. For the swatches I swiped it once on the hand and then a little further away I applied a bit of lotion and applied this on top - just to test the intensity. It smeared a bit (as expected because of the lotion underneath) but the swipe still looked pretty intense.

The eye shadow colors stay on the eyes for a long time, if you have oily lids you can use  a primer underneath. The colors are highly pigmented and give you a deeper impact if you have a primer underneath.

Soultree ayurvedic kajal has been out in the market for quite some time now. Recently one of the beauty bags also had this as part of the monthly offering. The kajal (kohl) comes in a lipstick style packaging with a pointy tip.

Hi friends, this is a quick review of a mascara that I've been using lately.

The mascara comes in a berry colored tube packaging with silver font. The wand has a  nice grip in the hand. The bristles on the mascara wand are a mix of long and short bristles which gives a very nice coating of the mascara on the eyelashes.

Here are the points where this mascara becomes a good buy:

1. The color is jet black

2. Texture is creamy

3. Does not clog the lashes

4. Wand helps to curl the lash as you apply

5. Imparts longer length to the lash

6. Is water resistant (not waterproof) - so if its not raining it will stay on the whole day :)

7. Is easy to remove

8. Coats the lashes evenly

Winged smokey eyes or just a hint of a liner, whatever your style maybe, having a user friendly eyeliner is always a boon. I really like applying eye liner using a felt tip based applicator. This is why I really wanted to try out the Oriflame TheOne Eye Liner Stylo pen and here is my review.

Oriflame TheOne Stylo Eyeliner pen comes in the standard pale purple packaging. Its slightly thicker than your regular felt tip markers. Its easy to hold in your hand and takes up very less space in your purse.

The tip of the pen is thick at the back but nicely pointed at the tip. The eyeliner pen applies wet liner on your eye lids easily and with great precision. If you make a mistake simply wet a q-tip and quickly wipe it off. The color is jet black.

The only drawback I see with TheOne Eye Liner Stylo is the fact that it is not water resistant. This means that on my oily eyelids it starts to wear off by the end of the day. And if you happen to rub your eyes or wipe them in rain it will surely wash off. You might still be able to splash your face with water without having the entire product wear off but the intensity will reduce and you will have a faint line remaining.

This year is about to come to an end. It has been a year of learning and today I wish to share a few of the best eye makeup I have seen this year.
