Oriflame TheOne Eye Liner Stylo Review & Swatch

Winged smokey eyes or just a hint of a liner, whatever your style maybe, having a user friendly eyeliner is always a boon. I really like applying eye liner using a felt tip based applicator. This is why I really wanted to try out the Oriflame TheOne Eye Liner Stylo pen and here is my review.

Oriflame TheOne Stylo Eyeliner pen comes in the standard pale purple packaging. Its slightly thicker than your regular felt tip markers. Its easy to hold in your hand and takes up very less space in your purse.

The tip of the pen is thick at the back but nicely pointed at the tip. The eyeliner pen applies wet liner on your eye lids easily and with great precision. If you make a mistake simply wet a q-tip and quickly wipe it off. The color is jet black.

Price: Rs 499
My rating: 4/5

The only drawback I see with TheOne Eye Liner Stylo is the fact that it is not water resistant. This means that on my oily eyelids it starts to wear off by the end of the day. And if you happen to rub your eyes or wipe them in rain it will surely wash off. You might still be able to splash your face with water without having the entire product wear off but the intensity will reduce and you will have a faint line remaining.

Diana Of London Dip Eyeliner Black - Review

When I tried the deep black sketch pen type eyeliner Super Fine Eyeliner by Diana of London it was love at first use. The liner was jet black and was so easy to use to get the perfect winged look. You can read the detailed review HERE

Then I thought of trying out the Diana of London Dip Eyeliner Waterproof. This has impressed me as well. It comes in a short vertical pot sort of packaging with a long handle that has a neat application tip which is very similar to the felt tip of the Super Fine Eyeliner.

The bottle has the details printed in gold which looks lovely. This eyeliner is a water based eyeliner and the applicator tip is perfect for precise application.

The eyeliner is a liquid eyeliner and the applicator tip picks up enough product to draw a thin line across the eye lid, For thicker lines or winged looks you will have to dip it in a couple of times.

Maybelline Colossal Kajal – My take on the much talked about product

Whenever I would ask someone about their favourite kajal – pat came the reply – Maybelline Colossal Kajal. I asked questions like would it stay on the waterline, wash it long lasting, and mostly the replies I got were promising. So after a lot of though I finally purchased this little yellow angel.

The Product
Maybelline Colossal Kajal comes in a yellow retractable pencil form. Very easy to carry, and easy to spot even in a huge pile of products. The kajal stick is soft and smooth in texture. Maybelline Colossal Kajal does not tug your skin on application giving a very neat look.

Coloressence Bridal Kajal - Review

Guest post by Iswarya Laxmi

I know how much we all love kajal’s and finding a right one is like a dream to us.
Before the Maybelline colossal and Lakme eye conic ones were launched in the market, I was on the lookout for a dense kajal that was smudge free.

I was using the Himalaya one and was happy with it but I wanted to try and experiment new brands.
When I went to a beauty store this coloressence kajal caught my eye.

What the company claims
"Bridal Kajal:
This unique Ayurvedic formula is soft and soothing to the eye
The added ingredients help to improve vision and brighten the eye
It is mild, gentle and safe to the eye and therefore can be used by anyone
This kajal does not smudge"

What the pack says

  • Unique nourishing formula for effortless application
  • Water proof and ultra-smooth for all day wear
  • Bridal kajal is a state of the art kajal with a unique fast dry formula that has a smooth flow and apt application which is water proof and lasts all day without smudging and flaking

Product
It comes in a plastic packaging with a twist up product application similar to that of our lipsticks. The product comes in a conical form. The outer package is black with a silver rim.
The package is very attractive.

My Experience
This kajal is not at all smooth and it’s not gliding on my eyeline. It’s too hard and I can hardly see any difference after applying it. This is one of the worst kajal I have ever used. I personally didn’t like it. I was expecting a lot when it was written bridal kajal.
They have just used some fancy words on the package. It’s not that smudge free and waterproof too. It stayed only till one hour. Also the shade is light black. It’s not that deep or pigmented.

Details at a glance
Packaging: plastic, travel friendly
Pigmentation: not good
Waterproof: no
Price: Rs 85

What I like

  • Economical/inexpensive
  • Product will last long as the quantity is decent enough
  • Travel friendly
  • Attractive packaging

What I don't like

  • Hard
  • Not effective/not true to its claim
  • Not easy to use
  • Not the deep black

Repurchase: no, never
Rating 1/5
Final verdict: Girls if you are looking for a daily wear kajal then this product is fine but if you are looking out for a smudge free or waterproof and pigmented one for smokey look then this product won’t help.
Hope you liked my review.
Stay beautiful :)

Darkest Black Pen Liner - Super Fine by Diana of London - Review

Friends of mine who follow my discussions on StyleCraze would be aware that I was looking out for a long lasting kohl that would not smudge on the water line despite my habit of rubbing my eyes. I had shortlisted a couple of them based on the suggestions given by everyone when I received this liner from Diana of London.
The liner itself is not really a kohl but as the name says it’s a liner and a pen liner. I have never used pen liners before and was very glad to try this out.
