Glitz & Glam Diwali Nail Art With El Corazon Confetti No517

STN Challenge / ILL Challenge second theme for nail art is Glam n Glitz - Diwali is all about light and sparkles so I chose  a gorgeous glittery polish from El Corazon. 

El Corazon Confetti No 517 is rusty maroon with bronze, gold and very fine silver glitter. The silver doesn't look silver on the nails but when you remove the polish you will notice that there are silver glitter in the polish. Confetti no 517 has a jelly like finish and looks so pretty in person. Trust me the pictures do not do justice to the actual beauty of this polish. Once my nails grow longer I will re-swatch this lovely polish and post on instagram. You see I still have fading henna on my hands which will also take a few weeks to go away completely.

I would have shrieked at the thought of painting my nails silver but when I tried the Silver Sparkles from Street Wear it was love at first sight.

The soft fairy like silver nail paint looks so pretty on the nails. A single coat is good for day wear and you can give it two coats to make it more daring.

Glazed green is suitable for day and night wear and will suite all skin tones. On darker skinned beauties it will appear more silver than green. The nail paint is long staying if you wear a top coat else it will start to fade off the edges in 3 days. The nail paint does not chip off so that is a plus point.

The nail paint has good pigmentation and long staying power. The color is a beautiful deep red shade with very gentle hints of copper glitter. Sparkling Cracker is suitable for all skin tones and really brightens the hand. I have worn it below on short nails and this shade would look just as pretty on longer nails as well.

Avon Nailwear Pro Nude Gold - Review

All this week I am planning to show you different nail paints – from soft nudes to deep reds – and mostly with a bit of shimmer for the festivities.

Beginning the series is a soft peach shade with a hint of golden shimmer. From the Avon Nail Wear Pro series the shade is called Nude Gold.

Avon Nail Wear Pro is a long staying nail paint and will last the entire week with a top coat. The shade Nude Gold is a warm shade and will look really nice on fair hands. It looks ok on my medium skin but 2 coats makes it look a bit too peach – making my hands appear dark.
