Last week I was invited over to the CaratLane's launch of the world's first virtual jewellery try-on app. If you follow me on Instagram I am sure you saw the live feed with a few posts from the event (loads of jewellery pics at the end of this post!)

The CaratLane App features some cutting edge facial recognition technology and 3D imaging techniques that provide you a life-like try-on experience.

A fellow blogger Shruti volunteered to try out the app as we watched to see the really cool features of the app.  All you have to do is get under a good lighting condition and the app will talk to you telling you how to go about using the try on feature. You first centre your face in a given area, then it will ask you to slowly turn your head, first to the left and then to the right while it images your face and ears.

One good thing that they offer (which will keep you coming back for sure) is a point accrual system. So each time you buy something you earn some points - these points can be redeemed on your future purchase.

Woman's Day - Why And How To Pamper Yourself!

Tomorrow is woman's day - just one day out of the 365 that is meant to celebrate YOU!!!!

My office usually has something special every woman's day and this time around they have organized a self defense workshop which I'll be attending today (or would have attended by the time you guys read this!)
