Review: Iraya Neem and Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel

Iraya Neem & Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel is by far the best shower gel I have used. I love using products in the bath that give a gentle scrub to the skin as well. This ensure that all dead skin cells get cleaned off in one go. And why I loved this product so much is for you to find out in the details below.

Review: Iraya Neem and Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel, anti-acne, back acne
Review: Iraya Neem and Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel

Iraya Neem & Basil Scrubbing Shower Gel comes packed in a plastic bottle with a flip top. The opening of the cap ensures that you can control the amount of product dispensed. The Show gel has is a light green colored liquid with dark green scrubbing particles. The scrubbing particles seem like they are dried neem leaves. The particles are big enough to slough away dead skin while gentle enough to be used all over the body even on delicate skin of the neck.

Basil has a purifying action while neem acts as an antiseptic. Lemon leaves help combat oiliness. The scrub particles act as skin polishers leaving the skin smooth.

Review: Iraya Anti-Acne Gel

I have been battling acne for a long time now. Some months back I tried out the Iraya Anti-Acne Gel and finally decided to post a review after trying it for quite a long time.

Review: Iraya Anti-Acne Gel

Iraya Anti-Acne Gel comes in a small glass jar with a screw cap. It is said to contain the goodness of 8 ayurvedic herbs that remove excess toxins to effectively heal breakouts and eruptions.

I personally prefer non-jar based packaging for the skin so that its easier to manage application with your fingers. For this pot based packaging I need to use a spatula so that I do not contaminate the whole pot.

Iraya Henna Conditioning Shampoo Review

Iraya is known for its Ayurveda products and today I'm sharing my experience in using their Henna Conditioning Shampoo.

What the company claims:
"Gives bounce and volume with lustre. Improves hair texture.

For chemically damaged/ dull hair

With henna leaf extract, the essential oils of tea tree and rosemary, this conditioning shampoo cleanses the hair while improving its overall texture. Henna has been known since ancient times to give bounce and volume; tea tree wonderfully cleanses and adds lustre and shine."

My Experience
The Iraya Henna conditioning shampoo is a yellow colored shampoo. Its texture is a gel like base (not the regular creamy shampoos). The fragrance is not exactly henna but a blend of very mild fragrances - quite common to ayurvedic products.

It lathers well and leaves hair feeling very clean. I have used it after oiling of hair and it did a decent job of cleaning the hair of the oil without drying out my hair. Even without oil my hair feels really clean and soft after using this shampoo. It actually reminds me of the baby shampoos we used to have as kids, it's really mild but does the job well.

Iraya Almond and Honey Soap - Review

I want to start with a big WOOOHOOO!!! I am almost going to hit a 100 followers on GFC. Thank you all for making this possible. I am wondering who the 100th follower is going to be!!!

Now after taking a deep breath, let me begin with my post today.

Even though I am a body wash person (I love strawberries and other fruity fragrance body washes!) I do switch to soaps in between. Recently I got hold of the Iraya Almond and Honey soap and was quite satisfied with the results.
