Philips Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry Epilator is my latest gadget. You all know how lazy I am to visit parlours and prefer to get rid of the fuzz at home whenever I find it convenient.
I've already mentioned a lot of tips to ease epilation for newbies in my article 10 Tips On Smooth Pain-free Epilation. I have also reviewed other epilators which I'll link to below just in case you want to compare.

First we'll take a closer look at the epilator head. The epilator head is wide and comes with a cap with tiny rollers that help stretch the skin making it less pain free for newbies. I'm used to epilating and don't normally use this cap. But it helps when you are working on the under arm area as the skin there is more gentle.
There is a light inside the epilation head which is useful in clearly showing fine hair.
There are two additional caps - one is for the delicate areas on the body while the other has a very narrow opening. This one is for facial hair removal. I prefer to use a facial epilator that is designed specifically for the face only as I find that more efficient for removing hair on the face.

The shaver head comes with its own cap. This cap is designed to help cut off longer hair before you epilate them or shave them off. The shaver good to get you started and for working on areas with thicker hair. Its better to shave coarse hair into a smaller length before epilating because smaller hair is easier and less painful to epilate.

Overall I'm quite happy with this new epilator. It's convenient to use and travel friendly too. Wet and dry action means I can use it in the shower when the hair is soft and easier to pull out. This can be a good gift for the coming festive season be it Diwali or Thanksgiving.
