InspiratioNailJune - Inspired By A Painting - Warli Nail Art

This week's theme for the STNChallenge InspiratioNailJune is inspired by a painting. I am so running short on time that I decided to pick something simple and easy to do. And I hope you all will like it!

Warli Nail Art (Inspired by Warli Paintings)

Warli paintings are done by the Warli tribe that lives in the Maharashtra-Gujarat border region. The basis of these paintings is the use of the symbols of a circle, a triangle and a square. You can read more about Warli (Wikipedia)

I basically searched for Warli paintings on google and took bits and pieces from two paintings to create my nail art.

I have used Sally Hansen Hard As Nails First Blush (pink), Maybelline ColorShow Black Currant Pop, and on the thumb Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish nail polish Purple Pulse. I used black acrylic paint to do the actual Warli painting.
