UberChic Stamping Plates Collection 3 and Marc Jacobs Perfume Inspired Nail Art

Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite perfume. And I absolutely adore that bottle! Inspired by a perfume bottle I did my nail art this time.

The nail art was super easy to do thanks to my new plates from UberChic - this is the collection 03 and I love the designs. Each plate has 24 big designs and around 10 to 12 small patterns & text.

HPB Presents May Flowers - Nail Art Using BornPrettyStore Matte Top Coat

This month for the Hobby Polish Bloggers linkup we are doing the theme May Flowers. Originally I wanted to do an out and out floral design but I will be doing that a lot for summers so I decided to keep it a little simple this time.

I recently got a few products from BornPrettyStore.com and decided to put them to use.

Welcome Back Summers - Chevron And Lines Nail Art Tutorial

Today I'm sharing a nail art which I've done to welcome summers as part of the STNChallenge. This nail art is also part of my Illchallenge where the theme is chevron and lines. Yes here I go again trying to do two things in one go.

Please excuse my super dry cuticles - they aren't dry in person but don't know why they look like this in the pictures :(

I've chosen lovely pink colors because summers are the time when all my lovely pink dresses come out of the closet. The base is Diana of London Nail Paint shade City Glamor (check the link for proper swatches), then I used China Glaze Fifth Avenue for the inner chevron and Lakme Lavender Lush for the outer chevron and ring finger. Flowers are done using Lavender Lush and everything white and green is acrylics.

And to add to the summer feel I've added tiny flowers on two nails. This time I've done a tutorial as well so I hope you all enjoy it.

Floral Nail Art - Maybelline Color Show Hooked On Pink - 212

This is a quick post today on an extremely easy to do floral nail art for your toes. The theme is floral and bright, so I used Maybelline Color Show nail paint in Hooked On Pink which is a bright pink color. And to create the pattern I used a white nail art paint.

My toe nails are very tiny so the floral part is just done on the thumb nail. You can repeat the same pattern on the other toe nails if you have space.

Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge - 3 - Delicate and Elegant - Floral French Tips Tutorial

So this is the third week of the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge and the theme this week is Delicate and Elegant. I know stamping would have been a good choice but since I had never tried using a paint brush before I thought let me try it this week.

So my nail art design is a Floral French Tip. And this week I have a tutorial for it as well!

Before you take a look at the pics I am extremely sorry for the unclean edges - I did not notice them until it was too late and I was watermarking the photos!

Things that you need for this nail art

  • Two nail paints of your choice - I have used Lotus Herbals Colordew nail paint in white, and Sally Hansen Salon Manicure nail paint in a deep mehroon color
  • A stripping nail art tool or painting brush - this has to be the thinnest possible - what you see in the pic is a number 0 brush and I have snipped off the bristles to reduce it to a very thin shape (will do a tutorial on how you can create your own stripping nail art brush sometime later)
  • Top coat - used here Orly Top 2 Bottom
  • Dotting tool (or a tooth pick)
